Welcome to LASERS Investment Section. The LASERS trust is the source of all benefits paid to our members and their beneficiaries. LASERS is a long term investor managed by dedicated investment professionals and its Board of Trustees.
The foundation of the System's strength and stability rests upon the diversification of plan assets and its long term view. We have great confidence in the soundness of our investment approach, making modest adjustments over time when appropriate, while never overreacting to any one year market return.

Annual Investment Report
Each year an Annual Investment Report is published that details LASERS asset allocation and investment performance as well as the practices in place to sustain our pension system.
DROP Rate of Return
Due to the negative investment returns experienced during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009, the system will not be posting interest to DROP accounts this year. However, the negative return will not result in a deduction from your account.
